    Requirements

    • PHP:
      • Version: PHP 7.2 or higher (PHP 7.4 or 8.0+ recommended for performance and security).
      • Extensions:
        • pdo (PHP Data Objects): For database interaction (even if using SQLite).

        Instructions

        1. Upload the Script: Upload the entire QueryAI script folder to your web server’s public directory (often named public_html, httpdocs, or www). You can use FTP or cPanel’s File Manager for this.
        2. Set File Permissions (If Necessary): Ensure that the web server has write permissions to the directory where the SQLite database file will be stored. This is usually the same directory where you uploaded the script. You might need to set permissions to 755 or 777 (use 755 if possible for better security). This step may not be necessary on all hosting environments.
        3. Access the Admin Panel: Open your web browser and navigate to the URL where you uploaded the script (e.g., yourdomain.com/admin/). You should be redirected to the admin login page.
        4. Login: Use the default credentials:
           • Username: admin
           • Password: admin123
        5. Immediately Change Credentials: After logging in, the very first thing you should do is change the admin username and password for security reasons. You’ll find these options in the admin panel settings or profile section.
        6. Initial Setup (If needed): If there are any initial setup steps required (like setting up the search index or configuring data sources), follow the instructions provided in the admin panel.
        7. Removing Previous Data: To clear the search index and start fresh, simply delete the database.sqlite file (or whatever you named your database file). The script will automatically regenerate this file the next time it’s accessed or when you perform an indexing operation.

        Security Warning: The default username and password (admin/admin123) are for initial login only. It is absolutely crucial to change these immediately after installation to prevent unauthorized access to your search engine’s administration panel.
